Study Duck Landing Page Upgrade

 

It has already been two weeks since I completed the Saessak course. It feels both short and long, but one thing is certain—I am growing every day.

Today, I decided to upgrade the landing page for Study Duck.

What Makes a Landing Page Appealing to the MZ Generation?

The MZ generation tends to prefer short and impactful videos over long texts. Since the existing landing page was text-heavy, I decided to add a promotional video for more effective marketing.

nel and used AI to produce a promotional video for the landing page. It was not just about making a simple video; it was also an opportunity to refine the key strengths of the app. Ultimately, I defined Study Duck's core message as a "study timer record coaching app."

Adding the Pomodoro Timer Feature

The landing page now includes one of Study Duck’s core features—the Pomodoro timer. I designed the logic so that even if users navigate to another page and return, the timer continues to function seamlessly. Since I had already developed this feature in the Study Duck app, implementing it here was relatively easy.

Creating the Study Duck Theme Song

Another new challenge was creating a theme song for Study Duck! I designed it to be used as an alarm sound for the Pomodoro timer, featuring a repetitive rhythm and simple lyrics. The goal was to make it easily memorable and help users stay focused on their studies.

Introducing the Study Duck Landing Page

After a full day of brainstorming and development, I’m excited to introduce the new Study Duck landing page to everyone!

Although I had to write the basic script myself, the process of creating the video and adding new features was incredibly fun. I look forward to continually improving Study Duck so that it can help more people.

P.S.: The app currently supports six languages, but the landing page has been upgraded to support 14 languages. Many international users have already visited and tested the Pomodoro timer on the landing page. If they want to keep track of their study sessions, I encourage them to download the app and continue using it.

By March 2025, I plan to launch the iOS and Android versions of Study Duck simultaneously—so stay tuned!
