It's been reported that love shared between couples is gradually decreasing. According to a study conducted by Professor Yoon-Sik Yeom from the Department of Sociology at Yonsei University and Professor Joon-Yong Choi from the Department of Internal Medicine at Yonsei University College of Medicine, one in three adults in Korea reported no sexual activity in the past year. The study also found that 43% of women and 29% of men are considered "sexless."
In particular, 58% of men in their 20s and 57% of women in their 20s reported not having had sexual intercourse in the past year, a surprising figure given that it's almost on par with the numbers for people in their 60s.
Experts attribute this to decreased sexual satisfaction, stress, excessive alcohol consumption, and smoking, all of which can lead to male erectile dysfunction.
